Terms, Disclaimer & Refund Policy

Educational Disclaimer

The information provided on The Oncology Resident platform (including the question bank, flashcards, mock exams and any associated materials) is for educational purposes only. It is intended to support exam preparation and is not to be used directly for patient care.

The Oncology Resident is not responsible for any errors in the materials, nor for how the information is applied. We aim to provide references and resources and to encourage wider reading around each topic. Clinical practice evolves, and examinations may lag behind changes in practice; we therefore review and update the platform on an ongoing basis, but we do not warrant that all content reflects the very latest guidance at all times.

The application of any information to a particular clinical situation remains the professional responsibility of the practitioner.

Independence & Non-Affiliation

The Oncology Resident is an independent educational provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR), the body that administers the FRCR examinations, the National Health Service (NHS), or any other examining or governmental body.

Our materials are an independent revision resource and are not official examination materials. "FRCR" and any related names or marks are the property of their respective owners and are used here for descriptive and identification purposes only. Where we describe our authors as NHS Clinical Oncologists, this refers to their professional background and does not imply any institutional endorsement.

Subscriptions & Pricing

We reserve the right to change our subscription rates at our discretion. Purchasing a subscription at a particular rate does not guarantee that the same rate will be available in future. Any rate change will not affect the price of a subscription you have already purchased for its current term.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing cycle, after which it will not renew and your access to the platform will end. You will not be charged again, and no further payments will be taken. Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period (see the Refund Policy below).

Refund Policy

We hope you find our platform valuable in supporting your learning journey.

Because we provide digital content with immediate access, all purchases are non-refundable once access has been granted. When you complete your purchase, you consent to receiving immediate access to the digital content (including question banks, flashcards, mock exams and other study materials) and acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose the right to cancel for a refund once access has begun.

We are therefore unable to offer refunds, exchanges or cancellations after access has been granted. We encourage you to review the available previews and product descriptions before purchasing to ensure the product meets your learning needs.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including any rights you may have where digital content is faulty or not as described.

Feedback

Your feedback matters to us — we continually strive to improve our platform and content. If you have comments or suggestions, please contact us at theoncologyresident@gmail.com so we can make your experience even better.
